What a beautiful late December day! Rocky, Lily, and Apollo are all thrilled with this weather.
Lily is really changing. Today she went to the toy box and pulled out a ty snowman and threw him around for a while. It is so amazing to see her changing into a real dog and being able to have fun. She has a little obsession with Apollo and really loves him. She licks his ears and scratches his back for him. Its probably one of the cutest things ever.
I just ordered a buddy belt for Rocky for his late Christmas present. Hopefully it will be as amazing as others say it is.
Yesterday we left the dogs home from 10am til 7pm. They did just fine, no garbage digging. Our good friends Megan and Si came over to let them out for us:) We had my family's xmas down in KC. It was a fun afternoon with great family and wonderful food and gifts.
I will be leaving on Wednesday for Houston, leaving Matt with all three dogs. Although Lily is getting better with Matt she still barks at him and when I am not around she sits in a corner and growls at him. So it will be an interesting 5 days for Matt. I hope that this time will allow them to grow a wonderful bond and Lily will hopefully get over her fear of men. I've asked Matt's mother to step in if Matt get over whelmed by Lily's insanity.
I'm going to go work on some more website stuff. Which is fun yet frustrating at times. I just need to figure out a way to get my forms to go through. No true fun in that, but its got to get done!
Have a great day!

Let it snow, Let it snow
Tonight we got one inch of ice/snow and are expected to get another 4 inches of snow. Rocky and Lily are not to thrilled with the snow. Rocky has never been a fan of the snow. This is our first year with miss Lily and we are assuming that this is her first snow.
Apollo is our foster pug. He is a total sweetheart. He is a big boy weighing in around 30 pounds. Unfortunately he is 100% blind so he occasionally bumps into things. Today he lost a toe nail. It was quite gross. He didn't seem to be affected by it at all, until we tried to clean it and put quik-stop on it. Its all wrapped up now and we will continue to keep it wrapped until it heals itself.
Today was the first day that the website went live. It still needs more work, but it should be perfected within the next couple of weeks.
