So, its been quite a while since I posted any thing on our blog. I figured I better start it back up sometime. We officially have our 501(c)(3) status! Woohoo:) And now we are working on splitting up all the different jobs so that I don't do it all.
We will be having a meeting this Thursday to discuss all the positions and hopefully get some volunteers.
The rescue has been going very good. We've been busy, but also very successful. The few pugs we have been getting in are adopted out very quickly. We attended the Dog Show in Omaha this past weekend and had volunteers come and help out. It was a great experience for us.
Currently I am fostering Buster, a two-three year old black male pug. He is the sweetest thing ever. I have received a few applications in on him and I just can't seem to find the perfect home for him. I almost feel like he's already found the perfect home... He's going to be so hard to let go of. I can't let myself become a foster failure again:)
I'll try and post on here more often now.
